Itinerary

DAY 1: HCM – Cai Be – Binh hoa Phuoc island. L/D (Cycling)

Leave HCM city at 7.30am: Pick up at the lobby of your hotel, we drive for Cai Be town in Mekong Delta around 2,30 hours. Embark on private boat trip, the cruise will begin with the visit of Cai Be floating market, full of fruits and vegetables on boats for sale, then visit handicraft village with some local home factories made coconut candy, pop rice & pop corn, rice paper, rice wine. Then sampan will cruise deeper Binh hoa Phuoc island, a peaceful escape where you have delicious lunch await you at a traditional charming house built on pillars where you have overnight. Late afternoon, you have a bike tour around the island will be discover the rural life style and daily activities of the Delta region. Overnight on the island homestay.

DAY 2: Vinh Long – Sa Dec – HCM. (B/L)

After breakfast, your private boat for second day cruise in the Delta. Crossing the Co Chien River (belong Vinh Long Province) some of the largest Mekong’s arm, cruise under the spectacular My Thuan Bridge (built by Australia). We will cruise up- stream on the Upper River, another large arm of the Mekong river . Along river bank some dark smokes in the

sky will lead you to one of the biggest bricks and tiles factory, where you have an interesting

visit. Back to the boat cruise to Sa Dec visit Cao Dai temple. Reach Sa Dec town around noon,

lunch at local ancient house in Sa Dec. The town is appearing like a little “ Venice “ with numerous narrow canals, various kind of activities on the river bank. Walking along the                                 narrow streets visit beautiful old houses dating from last century, some old Chinese temples,

including the primary school of Marguerite Duras famous writer (see Marguerite Duras novel turned into a famous movie “ The Lover) Following this, our vehicle will take you back to HCM city, with short rest at Mekong rest stop on the way. Tour end at your hotel around 5,30pm in HCM city .
